Usual adult dose
Usual adult dose for tapeworm: 2 g as a single dose, chewed well and swallowed with a little water after a light breakfast. Dwarf tapeworm needs 7 days of treatment as set by your doctor.
Your doctor may give you a different dose. Children's doses depend on weight.

Stop taking it and see a doctor straight away if you notice:
- severe allergic reaction (rare)
Do not take it, or take care, if
- Known allergy to niclosamide
- Children under 2 years (ask your doctor)
- Pork tapeworm with possible cysts elsewhere in the body (see a doctor)
