Usual adult dose
Dose is set by your doctor and depends on body weight: usually 200 micrograms per kg as a single dose with water on an empty stomach. For scabies the dose is repeated after 1 to 2 weeks.
Your doctor may give you a different dose. Children's doses depend on weight.

- dizziness
- nausea
- itching
- rash
- tiredness
Serious — get help
Stop taking it and see a doctor straight away if you notice:
- severe allergic reaction
- confusion or seizures (rare)
- severe skin reaction
Do not take it, or take care, if
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding (ask your doctor)
- Children under 15 kg
- Liver disease (use with caution)
